Process Conditions Temperature for Fermentation
Although the optimum temperature of the liquid during the fermentation process is 25-26oC, it can still produce the desired results in the range of 20 -26oC. However, if the temperature reaches 27oC or crosses over it then the result would be stuck fermentation. You should also take note that fermentation time will adversely increase if the temperature is lower than the optimum temperature. For example, it will take 10 days for fermentation levels to touch 20% ABV at a temperature of 20oC.
pH Monitoring
While using Alcohol Base Turbo Yeast 20%, pH monitoring or adjustment will not be required at all since Alcohol Base itself has the in-built ability to maintain control over pH levels due to the presence of pH buffers of food-grade quality.
Foaming properties
Although Alcohol Base Turbo Yeast 20% does not have any anti-foaming agents, the product itself hardly produces any foaming. If the free tank head space is less than 10% then high foaming will not result within the first 24 hours, provided liquid anti-foam is added.
